The incident occurred at around 8.45 pm on Monday when Sharma, was crossing the road close Ludlow Castle School and a Mercedes car hit him.

The video demonstrates Sharma, clad in a red T-shirt and jeans with a dark haversack, as he checks for traffic before crossing the busy street. In a matter of seconds, the speeding silver Mercedes hurries into the scene, hits Sharma and flings him into the air even as he attempts to escape its direction. Sharma is thrown out of the camera's line of perspective, his haversack is seen lying on the road.
