The recent update of Google in algorithm is codenamed pigeon. But this is not the final official name decided but just kept for temporary purpose by Search Engine Land. This is not the first temporary name as earlier name of Panda was Farmer. Choosing pigeon as the name and the reason behind that is such birds tend to fly to destination for transferring the data

For a time being this algorithm looks out for local language search key words within United States. And the choice for hunt is given to local businesses when compared to local brands. It is good for small scale industries as well who can maximize their popularity. If at all any local company has been searched by any client then it is searched in the Google map and thereafter if it is clicked then its rating increases in the search history.

If there is any other famous company or top brands then that will be displayed on the first and the developing and the under developed will have no name which was not good and therefore after the introduction of pigeon it was able to fly nook and corner to find out he minute hidden companies. It would be much better to post it on SERP as well. It is said that local business men want a share on content marketing on G+.
