Khaki Terror Strikes Mumbai, Couple Trashed in Police Station!
Not months ago there was news about Mumbai Police trashing a young girl for allegedly entering in the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati Pandal through the VIP entrance. A video of the same was circulated on the social media and the Mumbai Police was shamed for the same while the senior police officials had assured the public that strict action would be taken against the police authorities responsible for the incident.
This time around, however, the Khaki terror strikes Mumbai again and like last time the video is going viral on various social media sites as well. The video clip shows a couple being allegedly being physically and verbally abused by cops inside a police station even as police have denied the charge. The incident is said to have taken place in a suburban Andheri police station. However, the police officials said that the two were under heavy influence of alcohol and were fighting with each other at the metro station while the police only tried to pacify them.
A sub inspector said that when they brought the duo in the police station the man was trying to get hold of the woman and they were restraining him. In the video, however, the cops are seen trashing the couple while the girl pleads for mercy because of which she too is slapped several times. We can also hear the police officials hurling abuses at the couple while continuously trashing the couple in their police station.
An enquiry had been initiated in the matter while no complaint was registered against the couple. Their parents were called in the police station, their statements were recorded and then they were let off after giving a warning.
