Women Blew Herself Up To Prevent Arrest by Paris Police in Raid
French media is reporting that the raids this morning in Saint-Denis took place on Rue du Corbillon, a small side street. The reports had said that the suspects were hiding in an apartment building several floors above a primary school. A news channel confirms to have spoken to the man who rented his apartment to the suspects in St-Denis. The man who stays at 8 rue Corbillon had told the French broadcaster that two people who hailed from Belgium had rented his property.
French prosecutors also confirm that in order to prevent herself from being arrested, a woman, believed to be a terrorist, blew herself off by a bomb and was killed. Three men who are not identified yet have also been arrested. When the police officers tweeted about the raid an hour ago confirmed that the raid is still going on and that five officers have suffered slight injuries. It turns out that the man who rented the apartment is one of the men who were arrested in the raid. Also fifteen people were evacuated from the building which includes women and children and a counseling center was set up near by. Police sources further went on to add that another suspect was killed in the attack on the St-Denis apartment. At last they said that seven people were arrested in the raid out of which only three of them were found in the apartment. They refused to identify those who were detained. As the police raid is still underway the local counselor for the Green Party had arrived in the town to attend a meeting called by the mayor.
