We have always heard news about young brides being burned to death for dowry and several other reasons and almost every girl in the country is scared of their in-laws, thinking of them as some devil's pawn or at least making them to be at some point or the other. Though many of us have heard about domestic violence towards the daughter-in-law of the family, here we have got a video which seriously begs to differ. A month ago internet was taken by storm when a CCTV footage was leaked online where a woman was seen ruthlessly beating and trying to choke her mother-in-law to death. The incident was published on every possible site and people from all over the country wanted the woman to get punished for her act. It has been said that the woman, Sangeeta Jain, had tried to kill her 72 year-old mother-in-law several times, fearing which her husband decided to install a CCTV camera in their little house to keep a watch on her. The video captured cruel woman “Daughter-in-law” Sangeeta Jain W/o- Sandeep Jain, Resident of Nehtaur, Uttar Pradesh attacking her helpless sick mother-in-law which took place on 4th January 2016. The cruel woman tried to kill her mother in law “Rajrani Jain” with stone and rope, she slaps her and then drags her down the bed. It has been 7 years to her marriage with her husband and they have even filed for a divorce case which is still going on. She was allegedly living in her husband’s house forcefully and she was taking advantage of his generosity. On 4th January in morning without the usual commotion took place in the market and went to the police station to lodge a false report and ignoring the fact, police booked Sandeep Jain. She made the clothes noose around the neck of her mother-in-law and then hit on the head by a stone severely and made the old woman bleed profusely. Her cruelty was not over when she further tried to give the poor lady electric shock by water heating rod. Yet no action was taken by the police because this attack has done by a woman.
