Sonam Kapoor Shares Neerja's Bravery Through Her Special Stamp
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who will soon be seen depicting the character of Neerja Bhanot in her upcoming flick "Neerja," as of late, shared a stamp, which the government made in the airhostess' name.
The 30-year-old actress took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture of the stamp that has Neerja's picture on one side and her Ashoka Chakra decoration on the other.
Posting an image of the stamp Sonam tweeted, "Folks: have you seen the stamp that the government of India made in the honor of #Neerja ? Here it is"

While the Bollywood film fraternity has consistently given recognition on Neerja and hero Sonam Kapoor, alluding to the film as a motivating masterpiece which will make India proud, the film has now astonished cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar.
The cricketer and youth icon as of late watched the film at a special screening and was deeply moved by Neerja's story. Giving the film his vote of confidence he said, "What a braveheart and sacrificial individual Neerja was. Cheerful around a film been made on a forgotten hero. Astonishing exhibitions by all. #Neerja is an absolute necessity watch film".
Directed by Ram Madhvi, "Neerja" is a biopic in light of the life of the Pan Am Flight 73 air leader Neerja Bhanot. Bhanot was only 23-year-old when she relinquished her life for sparing 359 lives on board a hijacked flight to Karachi, Pakistan.
With respect to the film, Neerja that is exhibited by Fox Star Studios and delivered by Bling Unplugged is directed by Ram Madhvani featuring Sonam Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani. Slated for release this Friday, the film revolves around the capturing of Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi, Pakistan particularly concentrating on flight specialist Neerja Bhanot.
The film is all set to release on February 19.
